I hated the whole “wedding is off because Cameron wanted to keep her dead husband’s sperms” premise of the episode, but I liked the conversation between Chase and Cameron at the end:
Chase: I can’t do it. You have doubts.
Cameron: You don’t?
Chase: No.
Cameron: That’s … naive. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I love you. It’s how I feel right now. But … I don’t know …
Chase: I’ll wait until you do.
Cameron: I can’t know. No one knows.
Chase: I do.
This is the moment the two of them are truly being themselves, and being completely honest about who they are, and how they think about love and life. There is an almost insurmountable difference in the way they approach it. Too bad they didn’t stick to this, but got married anyway. Not surprising it ended with a divorce.
