BAFTA Nominations

This came out before the Oscars nominations, but I missed it at the time. More love for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy compared to the Oscars (Leading Actor, Best Film, Outstanding British Film, Best Director etc etc), but still no Supporting Actor nomination. Also more nominations for Drive – Best Film, Best Director, Best Supporting Actress (hmm, I thought Carey Mulligan is the lead actress in the movie, but I suppose her screentime is not enough to qualify for best actress). And of course Michael Fassbender got the recognition he deserves. Interesting that BAFTA actually nominated a documentary (Senna) for Outstanding British Film. Unlike the Oscars, the Brits don’t seem to be very impressed with Terence Malick and The Tree of Life.
